When is the best time to book a cruise?
Most cruise lines open sailings 18 to 24 months out, and the best cabin categories at the lowest deposits go early. Booking 9 to 18 months ahead usually gives you the best combination of price, cabin choice, and flexible payment deadlines.
Does a travel advisor cost more than booking direct?
No. Cruise pricing is the same through an advisor, and we often layer in group rates, onboard credit, or promotions you would not see on the website. Our planning is at no cost to you.
Do I need a passport for a cruise?
For closed loop sailings from a US port, US citizens can often sail with a birth certificate and government ID, but a passport is strongly recommended. It is required for most European, Transatlantic, and one way itineraries.
Which cruise line is best for families?
Disney Cruise Line and Royal Caribbean lead for families, for different reasons. Disney wins on service, rotational dining, and character experiences. Royal wins on ship activities and value. We match the line to your kids' ages and your budget.
