How Much Does a Disney Cruise Cost in 2027?

Disney Cruise Line costs more than most lines, and families still book it again and again. Here's what you're actually paying for, and what a realistic number looks like.

Typical ranges for a family of four

  • 3 and 4 night Bahamas sailings: roughly $2,500 to $5,000 in an inside or oceanview cabin.
  • 7 night Caribbean sailings: roughly $5,000 to $9,500 depending on cabin and season.
  • Holiday weeks, summer, and Alaska: expect the top of those ranges or above.
  • Those are fares for the whole family, not per person, and they move with demand. Verandah cabins usually add 20 to 35% over an oceanview.

    What's included

Meals in the main rotational dining rooms, quick service, room service (small fee for delivery), soft drinks at meals and the pool, kids clubs, nightly shows, and the character experiences. That last part is the difference. The entertainment on Disney ships is the reason the fare is what it is.

    What isn't

Gratuities (about $16 per person per night), alcohol, specialty coffee, adult dining at Palo or Enchante, spa, excursions, Wi-Fi, and photos. Budget another $600 to $1,200 for a week for a family of four depending on how you cruise.

    Where families save

Sail in early December, late January, or early May. Consider a 4 night instead of a 7 night for a first sailing. Book early: Disney rarely discounts, and opening rates are usually the lowest you'll see. Placeholder bookings made onboard save 10% on a future sailing.

    Is it worth it?

If your family loves Disney, yes, and it's the one vacation where nobody has to plan anything. If you mostly want a beach and a pool, another line gets you there for less, and we'll happily tell you so.
